Lovie Smith completes Buccaneers coaching staff

TAMPA, Fla. -- A new era for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is set to begin.

Lovie Smith completed his coaching staff Friday, after naming Mike Phair assistant defensive line coach and Carlos Polk assistant special teams coach.

The final hires cap a month of change at One Buc Place, which included the addition of Jason Licht as the franchise's fifth general manager Tuesday.

Defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier and offensive coordinator Jeff Tedford headline the staff under Smith. Kevin O'Dea, a former assistant special teams coach under Smith as part of the Chicago Bears, will serve as the Bucs' special teams coordinator.
