Lohse to start Spring opener

Kyle Lohse will start the Cardinals Grapefruit League opener on March 5 against the Miami Marlins at Roger Dean Stadium. Manager Mike Matheny made the announcement to reporters Monday morning.

Lohse went 14-8 with a 3.39 ERA last season, leading the World Champs' rotation in both wins and ERA.
