Lightning promote Namestnikov from Syracuse

TAMPA, Fla. -- The Tampa Bay Lightning promoted center Vladislav Namestnikov from the American Hockey League's Syracuse Crunch on Wednesday.

Namestnikov, 22, has three goals with seven points and a plus-3 rating in 25 games with the Lightning this season. He has appeared in 27 NHL games, all with Tampa Bay. In 126 career AHL games, he has 35 goals and 93 points.

Namestnikov's promotion comes hours after coach Jon Cooper labeled center Cedric Paquette as doubtful to appear when the Lightning host the St. Louis Blues on Thursday night at Amalie Arena
