'Ky-rispie Kreme' truck hits Cleveland ahead of Cavs-Raptors
This is a new twist on the donut industry.
Before the Cleveland Cavaliers hosted the Toronto Raptors in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, a special treat awaited fans inside a custom truck outside Quicken Loans Arena at Fan Fest.
Many waited in line to get their hands on a pair of the special edition "Ky-rispie Kreme" version of Kyrie Irving's "Kyrie 2" Nike shoes.
The kicks came packaged in a special box modeled after that of Krispy Kreme, as shown off by Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis.
Shout out to @KyrieIrving and the @Cavs let's get game 1. Got my #KYRIE2 Ky-Rispy Kremes on for #TheLand! pic.twitter.com/W4agkwbelF

And when it comes to NBA culinary characters, "Chef Curry" can add "Donut-maker Kyrie" to the troupe.
