Kenseth wrecking service: Fan selling Joey Logano Martinsville wreck die-cast with a twist
The feud between Joe Gibbs Racing's Matt Kenseth and Team Penske's Joey Logano was one of the biggest stories of the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup season, especially when it came to a head at Martinsville Speedway with Kenseth wrecking Logano intentionally.
While the incident polarized fans and caused debate throughout the sport, one fan looked at it as an opportunity to be creative.
A fan is now selling a custom 1:24 scale die-cast of Logano's wrecked No. 22 Ford from the Martinsville race. While the damaged die-cast is unique in and of itself, it also sits on a tow truck with a No. 20 and the words "Kenseth Wrecking Service."
The custom item is up for sale on eBay, with the current bid of $560. The seller said in the item description he was hoping to take a "light-hearted jab at what has become a very serious NASCAR issue."
