In St. Louis, Chad Johnson made 20 saves for a shutout, lifting the Blues over the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Sammy Blais and Pat Maroon scored first-period goals, and Robert Bortuzzo added an empty-netter.

Sergei Bobrovsky started for Columbus and made 14 saves on 16 shots in his half of the game before being replaced by Brad Thiessen, who stopped all 10 shots he faced.
