Johnson, Bush out Sunday against Falcons

Despite returning to practice for three consecutive days, Detroit Lions receiver Calvin Johnson is again inactive for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons in London, England (9:30 a.m. on FOX).

It will be the third straight game that Johnson misses because of a sprained right ankle.

With the Lions having a bye week after returning from overseas, Johnson will have had a full month of rest and rehab before Detroit plays again on November 9 at home against Miami.

The Lions' offense also will be without running back Reggie Bush (ankle), offensive tackle LaAdrian Waddle (concussion) and the team's top three tight ends -- Brandon Pettigrew (foot), Eric Ebron (hamstring) and Joseph Fauria (ankle).

A third straight victory for the Lions would leave them at 6-2 at the halfway point of the season and assured of at least a tie for first place in the NFC North.
