Jeter has good taste in movies, but is terrible movie reviewer

Roger Ebert he is not.

Derek Jeter will be a Hall of Famer one day, but he leaves a lot to be desired as a movie reviewer.

The Yankee shortstop revealed his four favorite movies to ESPN New York: "American History X," "Major League," "The Shawshank Redemption" and "The Five Heartbeats."

While the list is more than fine, Jeter didn't exactly get all descriptive and detailed when sharing his thoughts on the films. "I just thought it was an overall good movie," he said about "The Shawshank Redemption."

"The first one was pretty good," was Jeter's "Major League" review.
