'Inside the Marlins: Baseball Jobs' premieres Aug. 9 on FOX Sports Florida

MIAMI -- This episode is all about the people who keep the Marlins organization firing on all cylinders. On Sunday, Aug. 9, at 8:30 p.m., FOX Sports Florida, the statewide television home of the Miami Marlins, will premiere an all-new episode of "Inside the Marlins" upon conclusion of the Miami vs. Atlanta Braves game. Titled "Baseball Jobs," this episode is a must-watch for fans and viewers who hope to one day work in Major League Baseball as we spotlight  people who work mostly behind the scenes in the Marlins organization.

FOX Sports Florida's Jessica Blaylock hosts as we work our way through the baseball career ladder. Vice President of Scouting Stan Meek and Vice President of Player Development Marty Scott share their unique experiences and respective career tracks. It's not just about the front office as we also sit down with Marlins Advanced-A Minor League Manager Brian Schneider, and Tim Smith, a local Miami-area school teacher who doubles as a batting practice pitcher and has done so since the Marlins inaugural season in 1993.
