Tennessee had to be happy when Saturday night ended.
UT won at Vanderbilt 24-10, but it was a game to forget. The Vols did not look impressive, which had to be a result of back-to-back dominating performances against weak competition. A third straight game against an inferior opponent rarely motivates any team.
UT never got into a rhythm against Vanderbilt. The Vols scored their first touchdown midway through the quarter when quarterback Tyler Bray found fellow freshman Justin Hunter in the end zone. I don't think that combination will get old to UT fans any time soon.
