As a fourth-line center, Derek MacKenzie is typically only diving to block a shot or break up a pass in the defensive zone.

On Thursday, however, the Florida Panthers veteran forward dove head first toward Winnipeg Jets goaltender Michael Hutchinson to score one of the more spectacular goals you'll see this season.

Watch as MacKenzie's extended stick just catches a no-look pass from teammate Dave Bolland to give the Panthers an early 1-0 lead in a critical game against the Jets:
