How they voted: Badgers in 2014 AP football poll (Final)

After beating Auburn in the Outback Bowl, there was little doubt Wisconsin would move up in the final Associated Press top 25 poll of the season. And, indeed, the Badgers went from No. 17 to No. 13. No team which was ranked in the top 12 jumped over UW in the final poll, as well. So, I guess you could say it was a fair resting spot for the Badgers.

Naturally, Wisconsin received several big boosts from voters.

Gary Horowitz of the Statesman Journal and Pete DiPrimio of the Fort Wayne News-Sentinel both moved Wisconsin up 10 spots. Horowitz from 20 to 10 and DiPrimio 22 to 12. Those were the biggest jumps.

And everyone moved Wisconsin up, right . . .?

Think again.

Five voters moved the Badgers down on their ballot after the Outback Bowl win.

The most egregious example is Kellis Robinett of the Wichita Eagle who slid the Badgers down five (!!!!! - that's one exclamation point for each) spots, from 13 to 18. Five. All I can say is wow.

But as mentioned, Robinett wasn't the only one to move Wisconsin down after, again, a win, and one over an SEC team in a good bowl game.

The others: Adam Jude, Seattle Times (13 to 14); Charles Davis, FOX Sports (15 to 17),  Doug Lesmerises, Cleveland Plain Dealer (15 to 18) and John Shinn, Norman Transcript (15 to 19).

OK then.

Here's the list of all the ballots, including a comparison from Week 16 (after loss to Ohio State) and Week 15 (after beating Minnesota to claim Big Ten West title):
