How they voted: Badgers in 2014-15 AP basketball poll (Week 16)
Another week in the Associated Press top 25 poll in which Wisconsin saw very little movement. In fact, the Badgers gained all of three votes in staying at No. 5.
(Note: At this point it is very hard to imagine Wisconsin getting into the top four unless one of the teams in front of the Badgers lose.)
I figured this would be another boring week, especially since there was the whole three-vote gain thing.
But yet, once again, two voters in the top 25 poll decided to move Wisconsin down on a ballot. Yes, I said two.
For the most part, though, this week was boring. Only four voters moved Wisconsin at all, and the biggest "news" was a three-spot jump from 5 to 2 by Cormac Gordon.
However, I can't get past the moving down part.
John Werner of the Waco Tribune-Herald was one. He moved Wisconsin from 4 to 5. He had the Badgers at 5 two weeks ago . . . and 4 three weeks ago and 5 a month ago.
The other was Scott Wolf of the Los Angeles Daily News, who moved UW from 4 to 5. Wolf had just moved the Badgers to No. 4 last week after two weeks at No. 5.
Again, this is why they call it a poll.
