Hoosiers lose WR Harris for second straight season with ACL tear

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Indiana receiver J-Shun Harris is expected to miss his second straight season after tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in one of his knees.

Coach Kevin Wilson made the announcement after Monday's practice. Wilson did not say which knee was hurt -- only that it was not the same knee that required ACL surgery last year.

The 5-foot-8, 170-pound sophomore caught two touchdown passes as a freshman and was expected to play a prominent role last season before getting hurt in the summer of 2015. He appeared on track to reclaim that spot this year until he was injured during non-contact work in practice.
