Last night's 86-84 Hawks win over Orlando at Philips Arena was one of the more memorable in recent history not just for Atlanta, but across the league.  As great as the finish was though, something just as memorable happened well before the game ever started.

Die-hard Hawk fans Andy and Casey Meeks, brothers from Atlanta, decided to pay a little visit to the Magic bench during pre-game warm ups using their all-access credentials.  Decked in matching attire- face paint, bright red Joe Johnson jerseys and basketball sneakers- the two were the most noticable characters in the arena at the time.  Feeling brave, they began talking junk to Magic big man Dwight Howard, who was casually hanging out on his team's bench watching shoot around.  They'd find out soon enough that you don't mess with a guy named Superman.

The Meeks brothers established a challenge- could a guy known more for his monster dunks than his outside shot sink a heave while sitting right there on the Magic bench?  A playful Howard accepted the challenge, requesting that they run the stairs the entire height of Philips Arena if he made the shot.  No problem, the guys said- they'd even give Howard two tries at it.  More and more cameras flocked around the group to capture the banter.  Howard's playful promise if he missed?  "We'll lose the game".  Dwight Howard only needed one attempt at the shot- swish!  As the Meeks brothers trotted off to fulfill their promise, the mighty All-Star basked in his triumph over the boisterous Atlantans.

As it turned out though, Josh Smith was able to do something a couple hours later the Meeks brothers failed to- defeat Superman.  What a night at Philips Arena!
