Georges St-Pierre turned away at German nightclub, left out in the rain
Apparently, the initials GSP don't mean anything in Germany.
UFC superstar Georges St-Pierre was turned away at the door of a Berlin nightclub this week and left out in the rain. The former welterweight champion -- and nightlife connoisseur -- tweeted a funny picture of himself shrugging after being dissed in the European country Thursday.
St-Pierre, who is in a state of semi-retirement, was in town to corner his close friend and Tristar Gym training partner Francis Carmont, who lost to C.B. Dollaway at UFC Fight Night Berlin on Saturday.
Ironically, GSP used to be the doorman at a hip-hop club in his native Canada. He told TMZ recently that it was the worst job he ever had, because of the sometimes ratchet clientele.
Tried to check out Berlin nightlife but got rejected at door & stuck in rain. Had flashback of my past lol... pic.twitter.com/qcs8P0rxMK

It's cool St-Pierre could poke some fun at himself and be a good sport about not being let in. It's even better that he didn’t bring his Brazilian jiu-jitsu trainer Renzo Gracie with him on the trip.
But seriously. Don't the Germans know who GSP? Is there bitterness over him being in Captain America? C'mon, guys.
