Gentry feels fine after pitching debut

Texas outfielder Craig Gentry was back in the starting lineup Tuesday but wasn't expected to pitch again.

Gentry, who is starting in center, said he felt fine Tuesday after making his pitching debut in Monday's 12-1 loss to Oakland. Gentry allowed two runs in his inning and threw 20 pitches.

Aside from his lower back being a little sore, he was good to go.

"My arm's fine," Gentry said.

The Arkansas native heard from a lot of friends and family.

"My family thought it was funny, joking around a little bit," he said. "Everyone was wondering why I didn't try to throw hard or off speed and I was like, 'I didn't want to get hurt.'"

Gentry said the highlight for him was the fact he only walked one Oakland player.
