FSU players pass time Saturday playing hangman
Has Florida State's dominating performances against the rest of the Atlantic Coast Conference become … boring?
The Seminoles have outscored their conference rivals 411-98, going 8-0 in the ACC in 2013.
So what is a first-team Florida State player to do, late in the second half of a 59-3 rout of Syracuse on Saturday? Why, play hangman. What else?
Two Florida State defensive backs, Terrence Brooks and P.J. Williams, grabbed a whiteboard and entertained themselves with a game of hangman.
The answer, if you are curious, was apparently "Chicken."
With Florida State (10-0) playing host to Idaho (1-9), who knows what games will be played on the sidelines this Saturday. Idaho has taken its lumps this season, losing badly to Washington State (42-0), Fresno State (61-14) and Mississippi (59-14).
Florida State is a 56-point favorite over Idaho, which at first glance seems low since that was the point differential in the Seminoles' last two wins -- 59-3 at Wake and 59-3 against Syracuse.
