FSAZ to televise 162 D-backs regular-season games in 2019

PHOENIX -- In 2019, FOX Sports Arizona is once again the home of the Arizona Diamondbacks and this season, all 162 regular season games will be televised by the team’s regional television partner. All telecasts will also be streamed on the FOX Sports GO app and for the fourth consecutive season, 25 games will be produced for a Spanish telecast on FOX Sports Arizona Plus.

In addition to the 162-game regular season slate, 11 Cactus League match-ups are set to be televised on FOX Sports Arizona or FOX Sports Arizona Plus. That schedule starts March 1 from Salt River Felds when the D-backs host the Chicago Cubs at 1 p.m.

Steve Berthiaume and Bob Brenly return for their eighth season together in the D-backs television booth. Jody Jackson and Todd Walsh, who have a combined 37 years of covering the D-backs for FOX Sports Arizona, will once again share hosting duties for the network’s pre and postgame shows. They will be joined by two of the most popular players in D-backs history -- Mark Grace and Brandon Webb, who return to provide analysis during the “D-backs Live” pregame and postgame shows.

For the fourth consecutive season, 25 D-backs games will be done in Spanish on FOX Sports Arizona Plus. With the exception of the Yankees game at Chase Field on April 30, the schedule consists of every Saturday and Sunday home game during the season and begins on April 27 and 28 when the Cubs are in Phoenix. After that, it’s the Yankees on April 30, followed by the Braves (May 11-12), Giants (May 18-19), Mets (June 1-2), Giants (June 22-23), Rockies (July 6-7), Brewers (July 20-21), Nationals (Aug. 3-4), Giants (Aug. 17-18), Dodgers (Aug. 31 & Sept. 1), Reds (Sept. 14-15) and Padres (Sept. 28-29). Once again, Oscar Soria and Rodrigo Lopez will team to announce the games.

After the 11-game Cactus League schedule, FOX Sports Arizona leads off its 2019 regular season coverage on Opening Day when the D-backs visit the Los Angeles Dodgers on March 28. The network’s pregame show begins that day at 12:30 p.m. and the game follows at 1 p.m.

FOX Sports Arizona’s 2019 baseball schedule also includes “Baseball Day Arizona” on Saturday, April 13. A first-of-its kind all-day event that will celebrate the sport that is synonymous with the state of Arizona, it includes 24 hours of baseball programming and is highlighted by three live game broadcasts featuring Arizona teams, including high school baseball, college softball and Major League Baseball.

Starting at 10 a.m. from Chase Field, it’s a high school baseball game featuring Corona del Sol and Desert Vista. Then at 1 p.m., Grand Canyon University hosts the University of Arizona in a softball game and at 5 p.m., the D-backs take on the Padres at Chase Field.

D-backs games can be streamed live via the free FOX Sports GO app for all subscribers of participating video providers. For more information, check out FOXSportsGO.com.
