Frozen tundras: Ice added to STAPLES Center, Honda Center for NHL season
It may be 1,000 degrees outside in Los Angeles but inside the Honda Center and STAPLES Center, things are ice cold
On Monday, crews laid down and painted ice on the surfaces in both the Downtown LA and Anaheim locations, in preparation for the upcoming NHL season.
The Kings' first home preseason action will be Oct. 7 vs. the Sharks; the Ducks open their home preseason slate on Oct. 12 vs. the Canucks.
