FOX Sports Tennessee to televise 78 Predators regular-season games in 2015-16
NASHVILLE - FOX Sports Tennessee today announced it will televise 78 Nashville Predators regular season games during the 2015-16 NHL season. Predators regular season games on FOX Sports Tennessee will reach more than 7 million households throughout Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia.
The Predators open the 2015-16 NHL regular season on Thursday, Oct. 8, against the Carolina Hurricanes. Coverage on FOX Sports Tennessee begins at 6 p.m. CT with a special one-hour edition of the Predators LIVE! pregame show.
Other schedule highlights include:
-- The Edmonton Oilers and Connor McDavid, the first overall pick of the 2015 NHL Draft, will visit Nashville Saturday, Oct. 10, with pregame coverage starting at 5:30 p.m. CT.
-- The St. Louis Blues will travel to Nashville Saturday, Nov. 7, with pregame coverage starting at 6:30 p.m. CT.
-- The Predators will host the defending Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday, Dec. 10, with pregame coverage starting at 6:30 p.m. CT.
Willy Daunic, who has served as the radio voice of the Predators since 2013 and worked with the Predators Radio Network since the team's inception in 1998, now joins FOX Sports Tennessee as the television play-by-play announcer. Stu Grimson returns for his second season on the FOX Sports Tennessee telecasts, and rinkside reporter Lyndsay Rowley also returns for her second season.
Predators LIVE!, the pregame and postgame show for game telecasts, will be hosted by Mark Howard and Terry Crisp.
