FOX Sports Southeast to televise 72 Grizzlies regular-season games in 2015-16
FOX Sports Southeast will televise 72 Memphis Grizzlies games during the 2015-16 NBA season. Grizzlies regular-season games on FOX Sports Southeast will reach more than 6 million households throughout Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi, Alabama, and select areas of Illinois, Missouri and Arkansas. FOX Sports Southeast was formerly known as SportSouth.
The Grizzlies will tip off the NBA regular season against the Cleveland Cavaliers and four-time NBA MVP LeBron James on Wednesday, Oct. 28. Coverage on FOX Sports Southeast begins at 6 p.m. CT with a special one-hour edition of the Grizzlies LIVE! pregame show.
Other schedule highlights include:
-- The Grizzlies will host the defending NBA Champion Golden State Warriors and reigning MVP Stephen Curry on Wednesday, Nov. 11, in a rematch of the 2015 Western Conference Semifinals, with pregame coverage starting at 6:30 p.m. CT.
-- The San Antonio Spurs will host the Grizzlies on Saturday, Nov. 21, with pregame coverage starting at 7 p.m. CT in one of four regular season match-ups between the division rivals.
-- The Grizzlies will take on the Los Angeles Clippers and Blake Griffin on Saturday, March 19, with pregame coverage starting at 6:30 p.m. CT.
Play-by-play announcer Pete Pranica returns for his 12th season as the television voice of the Grizzlies, alongside analysts Sean Tuohy (entering his 10th season) and former Grizzlies guard Brevin Knight, entering his sixth season. Sideline reporter Rob Fischer returns for his ninth season.
Grizzlies LIVE!, the pregame and postgame show for all 72 game telecasts, will be hosted by Fischer, Knight and reporter Chris Vernon, who will join the crew for all home game telecasts.
Games will also be available on FOX Sports GO, a free app that provides live streaming video of Memphis Grizzlies games through select programming distributors, as well as other FOX Sports programming.
