FOX Sports North to televise 2016 NHL Stadium Series Alumni Game

FOX Sports North, in conjunction with the National Hockey League, Tuesday announced plans to televise the 2016 NHL Stadium Series Alumni Game from TCF Bank Stadium on Saturday, Feb. 20 at 4 p.m. Legendary alumni from the Minnesota Wild and Minnesota North Stars will team up to battle their counterparts from the Chicago Blackhawks in the opening game of the 2016 NHL Stadium Series weekend.

A co-production by FOX Sports North and Comcast SportsNet Chicago, the television event will feature Anthony LaPanta and Mike Greenlay in the broadcast booth, with Kevin Gorg of FOX Sports North and Pat Boyle of Comcast SportsNet Chicago reporting rink side.

Fans can expect a unique viewing experience with numerous players mic'd up during the game, player interviews conducted from team benches during game action, as well as historical "flashbacks" integrated throughout the telecast. Intermission updates will be on site from TCF Bank Stadium.

The 2016 NHL Stadium Series weekend will take place Feb. 20-21 at TCF Bank Stadium. On Feb. 21 at 2:30 p.m., the Minnesota Wild will faceoff against Central Division rival Chicago Blackhawks in the first-ever NHL outdoor matchup in The State of Hockey.
