FOX Sports North announces expanded Minnesota Lynx TV schedule

FOX Sports North and the WNBA’s Minnesota Lynx announced a 17-game television schedule on Thursday for the 2017 season.

The regional sports network’s schedule includes an increased number of games with coverage planned for FOX Sports North, FOX Sports North PLUS, as well as FOX Sports GO. The 17-game schedule features the most games for the network in its 19 years of televising Lynx games and includes all home games.

“We have worked closely with the team and some of our key stakeholders in order to help expand coverage of this great game,” said Mike Dimond, Senior Vice President and General Manager of FOX Sports North. “We are especially proud to provide more Lynx coverage than ever before.”

FOX Sports North’s coverage begins on Sunday, May 14, with the Lynx’s home opener against Chicago.

This season marks the seventh consecutive season that Marney Gellner will serve as the television play-by-play announcer and the ninth year Lea. B. Olsen will serve as the Lynx television color analyst for FOX Sports North.
