FOX Sports North announces 2016-17 college hockey TV package

FOX Sports North, in conjunction with the University of Minnesota, the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC), and the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA), announced an extensive 2016-17 television schedule Wednesday that includes Bemidji State University, Minnesota State University, St. Cloud State University, the University of Minnesota Duluth, the University of Minnesota, the University of North Dakota and the University of Wisconsin.

College hockey on FOX Sports North begins Friday, Oct. 14, at 7 p.m., when Minnesota Duluth hosts Notre Dame.

The 27-game television schedule includes a number of highly anticipated matchups between some of Minnesota's top programs and features two games between the University of Minnesota and North Dakota, one of college hockey's most intense rivalries.

A border battle featuring and Wisconsin is slated for Jan. 21, part of the regional sports network's 11th Hockey Day Minnesota event.

A total of 15 telecasts will be presented on FOX Sports North PLUS.

All games televised on FOX Sports North also will be streamed live on FOX Sports GO.

FOX Sports GO is available to customers of participating pay-TV providers on iOS, Android, Fire tablets and Fire phones, Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick, Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast Support, Windows devices, and online at FOXSportsGO.com.

Fans can download the mobile app for free from the iTunes App StoreGoogle PlayAmazon App Store and Windows Store.

To stream games users will need to verify their credentials by signing in with their pay-TV provider's user ID and password.

There is no additional charge to use FOX Sports GO.
