Former Atlanta Braves relief pitcher Peter Moylan to join FOX Sports South, FOX Sports Southeast as Braves LIVE analyst
ATLANTA -- FOX Sports South and FOX Sports Southeast announced today that former Atlanta Braves relief pitcher and 13-year MLB veteran Peter Moylan (@PeterMoylan) will join Braves LIVE, the networks’ flagship pre- and postgame show, for Braves telecasts. Moylan will make his Braves LIVE debut Tuesday, April 16, at 6:30 p.m. ET on FOX Sports Southeast when the Braves host the Arizona Diamondbacks.
“I am looking forward to joining the team at FOX Sports South and sharing my insights with Braves Country, all the while having a chin wag with some the best broadcasters in the game,” said Moylan.
Originally from Perth, Western Australia, Moylan pitched in 499 games during his Major League Baseball career for the Braves, Los Angeles Dodgers and Kansas City Royals. He finished his career with 24 wins, 10 losses, 4 saves and 324 strikeouts with an ERA of 3.10. A perennial fan favorite, Moylan played a total of 9 seasons with the Braves (2006-2012, 2015 & 2018), pitching 299.1 innings with an ERA of 2.80. Moylan also represented the Australian national baseball team in the 2006 and 2017 World Baseball Classic.
Moylan joins an accomplished roster of broadcasters covering the Braves for the networks.
