Fitzgerald named to Pro Bowl

TEMPE -- Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald was named Sunday to the NFC squad for the 2011 Pro Bowl.

After initially being selected as an alternate, Fitzgerald replaces Greg Jennings of the Green Bay Packers, who will be unavailable due to the Packers' appearance in the Super Bowl the following week.

This will be the fifth career Pro Bowl appearance for Fitzgerald, who finished the season with 90 catches for 1,137 yards and six touchdowns.

The 2011 Pro Bowl will be played at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu on Sunday, Jan. 30 and will be televised on FOX beginning at 5 p.m.
