Fantasy football Week 17 Survivor Pool updates
The Carolina Panthers lasted 15 weeks before a subpar effort in Atlanta granted the undefeated 1972 Miami Dolphins the right to pop champagne once more. However, Cam Newton’s squad won four more games than every FOX Sports Survivor Pool entrant. Here’s the current state of the 2015 Pro Football Survivor contest heading into Week 17:

When you look back at the 2015 football survivor season, Week 2 gutted most of the field when we learned the extent of the New Orleans current and future struggles on defense. Rookie quarterback Jameis Winston rolled into the bayou and left with a 26-19 victory. Thirty-seven percent of survivor entries picked the Saints to hold court at home. Not to be outdone, Week 2 upsets involved the Jaguars over the Dolphins, Raiders over the Ravens, and, in fact, the six most popular picks all lost. Add them all up, and the wave of underdogs rising up knocked 67 percent of the competition from the ranks of the unbeaten.
The final clean survivor sheets lasted two more months. Once again, the Buccaneers traveled to and absolutely destroyed the Eagles, 45-17 in Philly. The following week, the Packers lost to the Bears on a soggy Thanksgiving night at Lambeau. Poof! The survivor season earned their own Blutarsky zero-point-zero percent undefeated.

As you probably assumed, Week 2's upset six-pack sniped the majority of the one-loss survivor pool. Some other, more random, losses include the Cowboys in Week 4 and Vikings, Bears and Giants in Week 13 when the pickens were slim.
