Fantasy Football: Week 11 DraftKings and FanDuel advice

We’re to provide you with the best match-ups and players as you set your Fantasy Football DFS lineups for Week 10.

Each position will be broken into three separate categories:

1. High-tier – These are your “heavy hitters.” If you play season long fantasy football, they more than likely are the players who went in the first few rounds. They will cost you a pretty penny, but in the end, it’ll be worth it.

2. Mid-tier – This is where a majority of the players will be located. The key is finding the players with the most favorable match-ups, and in turn, exceeding the dollar amount placed upon them.

3. Low-tier (value) – These are your bottom-of-the barrel players in terms of pricing, but not necessarily in ability or situation. Not only should these players outperform their salary, they should crush it.

At the end, I’ll provide you with two lineups (one for FanDuel and one for Draft Kings). These lineups should be used for you to use as a base while you plug in some different players you may prefer.

Quarterbacks

High-tier

Tom Brady, New England Patriots vs. San Francisco 49ers (FD $9,300/DK $7,800): After going on a four-game tear, Brady threw up a dud last week. The chances of him doing that again two weeks in a row is extremely low. That’s especially true when you take into account he’s playing the 49ers.

Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers vs. New Orleans Saints (FD $8,500/DK $7,900): The Panthers and Newton completely imploded last week, but the biggest takeaway was Newton got back to running the ball. His 54 rushing yards was the most he’s had since Week 1, and his rushing touchdown was his first since Week 6. His opponent that game in Week 6 is the same one he’s playing tonight on Thursday Night Football. Also, the last time he played the Saints, he threw for 322 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cleveland Browns (FD $8,400/DK $7,500): Last week Big Ben looked a lot healthier than he did in Week 9, and so did his favorite weapon, Antonio Brown. This week, he gets the Browns. Cleveland has given up three passing touchdowns to an opposing quarterback in six out of ten games this season. In three others, they’ve surrendered two passing touchdowns to an opposing quarterback.

Drew Brees, New Orleans Saints vs. Carolina Panthers (FD $8,300/DK $7,600): Brees has thrown three or more touchdown passes in four out of his last five games. The last time he played the Panthers weak secondary, he threw for 465 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Mid-tier

Marcus Mariota, Tennessee Titans vs. Indianapolis Colts (FD $8,000/DK $6,700): He has been tremendous during this six-game stretch, and one can make the argument nobody else in the NFL has been better. He has multiple passing touchdowns six games in a row, and the Colts have given up multiple touchdown passes to an opposing quarterback six games in a row.

Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys vs. Baltimore Ravens (FD $7,600/DK $6,000): In seven straight games, he has multiple total touchdowns, which includes three rushing touchdowns. He’s also not hurting owners by not turning the ball over. He only has five turnovers in 36 quarters of action this season.

Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks vs. Philadelphia Eagles (FD $7,400/DK $6,100): After only totaling five touchdowns in his first seven games in 2016, he now has six in his last two games. He looks like the elite fantasy quarterback we all expected before the season started.

Low-tier (Value)

Tyrod Taylor, Buffalo Bills vs. Cincinnati Bengals (FD $7,300/DK $5,600): He has a rushing touchdown in three straight games and hasn’t had fewer than 35 rushing yards in four straight games.

Blake Bortles, Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Detroit Lions (FD $7,200/DK $5,400): It hasn’t been pretty with Bortles, but the fantasy production has been there for three straight games. He now has 250+ passing yards and 2+ touchdowns in three straight games. The Lions defense has given up multiple touchdown passes to opposing quarterbacks in six out the last nine games.

Colin Kaepnerick, San Francisco 49ers vs. New England Patriots (FD $7,000/DK $5,200): He’s averaging 57 rushing yards per game this season. With New England likely to route the 49ers, Kaep should have a great opportunity to rack up some garbage time points before this one is over.

Running Backs

High-tier

Le’Veon Bell, Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cleveland Browns (FD $9,100/DK $8,800): It’s amazing to think as well as Bell has been producing, his rushing touchdown last week was his first of the season. With the Browns giving up seven rushing touchdown to opposing running backs over the last four games, he should make it two in a row. Also keep in mind he has 9+ receptions in three out of six games this season.

Ezekiel Elliott, Dallas Cowboys vs. Baltimore Ravens (FD $8,700/DK $8,000): Ellliott now has seven total touchdowns over the last five games. During that span, he’s averaging 160 total yards per game. The Ravens have a strong run defense, but it’s really hard to care who he’s playing at this point.

DeMarco Murray, Tennessee Titans vs. Indianpolis Colts (FD $8,500/$8,200): He now has a rushing touchdown in five straight games and 80+ total yards in four out of those five games. If that wasn’t good enough, the Colts run defense is just flat out bad.

David Johnson, Arizona Cardinals vs. Minnesota Vikings (FD $8,300/DK $7,900): The No.1 fantasy running back against a Vikings team that is on a four-game losing streak. I like it. I especially like it after watching Jordan Howard run for 153 yards on them in Week 8 and Rob Kelley run for 97 yards on them in Week 10.

Mid-tier

Spencer Ware, Kansas City Chiefs vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (FD $7,700/DK $6,000): Tampa Bay has given up 100+ total rushing yards and/or a rushing touchdown to opposing running backs in eight straight games. Ware hasn’t done much since Week 7, but he should bounce back in a big way this week.

LeSean McCoy, Buffalo Bills vs. Cincinnati Bengals (FD $7,500/DK $6,900): McCoy should almost be back to 100 percent healthy following the Bills bye week. The Bengals have given up a rushing touchdown in four out of their last five games.

LeGarrette Blount, New England Patriots vs. San Francisco 49ers (FD $7,300/DK $6,400): There has only been one week this season where Blount hasn’t scored a touchdown. The 49ers have given up a rushing touchdown to an opposing running back in seven straight games. This is not a dream, but instead, a dream match-up.

Low-tier (Value)

Theo Riddick, Detroit Lions vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (FD $6,700/DK $5,100): In the six games Riddick has played in, he has had double-digit carries. During that span he is also averaging five receptions per game. You love volume and receptions in DraftKings PPR format.

Doug Martin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Kanas City Chiefs (FD $6,500/DK $5,400): Martin was supposed to be eased back into action last week, but instead he saw 17 touches. Other than the touchdown, they were pretty ineffective but the volume is there. He should see around the same amount of touchés if not more in a better match-up this week.

Latavius Murray, Oakland Raiders vs. Houston Texans (FD $6,400/DK $5,500): He has five touchdowns over the last three games, and it finally looks like he’s going to consistently average around 15-20 touches per game. The best way to beat the Texans defense is by running the ball.

Isaiah Crowell, Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (FD $6,200/DK $3,900): The Steelers defense has given up seven rushing touchdowns to opposing running backs over their last four games. The Cleveland coaching staff has to be smart enough to run the ball against them, control the clock and shorten the game … right?

Rob Kelley, Washington Redskins vs. Green Bay Packers (FD $5,400/DK $4,400): Since becoming the starter, Kelley has seen 21+ carries per game. That kind of volume against a Packers defense that has been riddled with injuries should equal positive results.

C.J. Prosise, Seattle Seahawks vs. Philadelphia Eagles (FD $4,900/DK $4,200): Did you see what this kid did on Sunday Night Football? Thomas Rawls is expected to be back this game, but Prosise still should see around 15 touches. That kind of volume with these playmaking abilities at this cheap price is too good to pass up.

Wide Receivers

High-tier

Odell Beckham Jr., New York Giants vs. Chicago Bears (FD $9,000/DK $8,500); Antonio Brown, Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cleveland Browns (FD $8,900/DK $9,500); Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Kansas City Chiefs (FD $8,000/DK $8,100): Let me just get right to the point. All three of the wide receivers are elite and have wonderful match-ups. Mike Evans could get an added boost if Marcus Peters misses this game with a hip injury.

Mid-tier

Dez Bryant, Dallas Cowboys vs. Baltimore Ravens (FD $7,400/DK $7,200): Since returning from injury, he now has 100+ receiving yards and a touchdown in two out of three games. The Ravens best cornerback, Jimmy Smith, missed practiced Thursday with a back injury and could miss this week’s game.

Allen Robinson, Jacksonville Jagurs vs. Detroit Lions (FD $7,300/DK $7,400): Two of his best three games have come in back-to-back weeks. The Jaguars firing their offensive coordinator is paying off big time for Robinson, who now has a touchdown in two straight games.

Stefon Diggs, Minnesota Vikings vs. Arizona Cardinals (FD $6,800/DK $7,000): Just like with the Jaguars, the offensive coordinator change is paying off big time for Diggs in Minnesota. He has 13 receptions in back-to-back games.

Michael Thomas, New Orleans Saints vs. Carolina Panthers (FD $6,500/DK $6,600): The last time he played the Panthers, he had five receptions, 78 yards and one touchdown. You should expect similar results.

Low-tier (Value)

Cameron Meredith, Chicago Bears vs. New York Giants (FD $5,600/DK $4,1000): With Alshon Jeffery out, Meredith is now the No.1 WR on the Bears. Jay Cutler has to throw to somebody right?

Tyreek Hill, Kansas City Chiefs vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (FD $5,400/DK $4,500): When Jeremy Maclin missed last week’s game, Hill had 10 receptions on 13 targets. As of right now, it looks like Maclin will miss this game as well.

Eli Rogers, Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cleveland Browns (FD $5,500/DK $4,300): The Steelers wide receiver corps is decimated by injuries. As a result, Rogers has been seeing extra targets, receptions and fantasy points. He has a good shot to continue that against who else? The Cleveland Browns.

Tight Ends

Hight-tier

Greg Olsen, Carolina Panthers vs. New Orleans Saints (FD $7,100/DK $6,500): The last time he played the Saints, he finished with six receptions and 94 yards. You got to love Olsen here just like most weeks.

Jordan Reed, Washington Redskins vs. Green Bay Packers (FD $6,900/DK $5,900): The Packers defense is missing a lot of starters and contributors due to injuries. As a result, they have given up on average eight receptions and 92 yards to opposing tight ends over the last three weeks. Reed is one of the most athletic tight ends in the NFL and should take advantage.

Delanie Walker, Tennessee Titans vs. Indianapolis Colts (FD $6,400/DK $5,700): Walker has a touchdown in three out of his last four games. His quarterback Marcus Mariota is killing it lately, and he’s bringing Walker along with him for the ride.

Mid-tier

Zach Miller, Chicago Bears vs. New York Giants (FD $5,500/DK $3,800): There’s a strong possibility Miller leads the Bears in targets now that Alshon Jeffery is suspended for four games. Any time there’s probable volume like that, it makes for a high upside situation.

Eric Ebron, Detrot Lions vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (FD $5,400/DK $4,100): He has seven receptions in back-to-back games, and the Jaguars just gave up two receiving touchdown to tight ends last week.

Martellus Bennett, New England Patriots vs. San Francisco 49ers (FD $5,200/DK $3,700): With Rob Gronkowski likely to miss this week’s game, Bennett will be the Patriots starting tight end.

Low-tier (Value)

Ladarius Green, Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cleveland Browns (FD $4,500/DK $2,500): He played for the first time this season last week, and it resulted in three receptions on four targets. He should see more playing time in his second game, and there’s always an opportunity to score a touchdown  when you’re playing against the Browns.

D/ST

High-tier

Seattle Seahawks vs. Philadelphia Eagles (FD $5,200/DK $3,800): Seattle is playing at home along with the 12th man against a rookie quarterback. That sounds good to me.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (FD $5,000/DK $3,400): Jameis Winston has turned the ball over three out of the last four games. Playing at Arrowhead is an extraordinarily difficult task, so a turnover or two is likely in this one.

Mid-tier

Miami Dolphins vs. Los Angeles Rams (FD $4,800/DK $2,900): Jared Goff, who couldn’t beat out Case Keenum, is making his first NFL start. The Dolphins D/ST has a touchdown in back-to-back weeks and has also created six turnovers in those two games.

New York Giants vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (FD $4,700/DK $3,500): Jay Cutler always has the possibility of imploding.

Low-tier (Value)

Oakland Raiders vs. Houston Texans (FD $4,400/DK $2,800): Brock Osweiler isn’t a good quarterback, and he’s turned the ball over in eight out of nine games this season.
