* The Raiders improved to 2-3 with a 27-17 home victory over San Diego in Week 5. Oakland led 24-3 at the end of the third quarter, only to see San Diego close to within seven (24-17) with 10:17 remaining. But the Raiders intercepted Philip Rivers on San Diego's final two drives to salt away the win.

* Kansas City is 5-0 for just the second time in franchise history, following its 26-17 road win over the Titans in Week 5. The Chiefs blew a 13-0 halftime lead, falling behind 17-13 in the fourth quarter, but scored the final 13 points of the game to pull off the comeback victory. The only other time the Chiefs started a season 5-0 was in 2003, when they won their first nine games of the year on their way to a 13-3 campaign.

* The Raiders have won their last six road games against the Chiefs. That is tied for the longest active road win streak by any team versus any opponent. (The Packers and Falcons have both won their last six road games against the Chargers.)

* Terrelle Pryor has completed 68.3 percent (71 of 104) of his pass attempts this season. That is the second-highest completion percentage by a Raiders quarterback through the team's first five games of a season (minimum 75 pass attempts); Jim Plunkett completed 68.9 percent of his pass attempts through the Raiders' first five games of the 1985 season.

* Jamaal Charles is the only player in the NFL with at least 350 rushing and 250 receiving yards in 2013. His 647 scrimmage yards are the second most in his career through five games (669 last season) and the fourth most through five games in franchise history.

* Alex Smith is just the second quarterback in franchise history to win his first five starts with the Chiefs. Mike Livingston won his first 10 starts for Kansas City, 1969-1972. Smith is 2-0 all-time as a starting quarterback against the Raiders.

* When Charles Woodson returned a Chargers fumble for a touchdown in last week's game, he tied the NFL all-time record for most career defensive touchdowns (13), a record he now shares with Rod Woodson and Darren Sharper.
