End of the Road(trip)

The longest road trip of the season is about to end tonight at Detroit. Maybe. The bobcats flew to Detroit from Utah Tuesday and arrived at the Oakland County International Airport literally moments before a Midwestern blizzard struck up in earnest. When our bus arrived at the team hotel in Birmingham, Michigan just before 7pm, snow was starting to fall horizontally, driven by Northeast winds. However, when dawn broke Wednesday, the streets were plowed and it was business as usual.

There is still a chance that the Bobcats can come home with a better record than what they left with 9 days ago. The Bobcats face a Detroit team that has lost it's last three games and will be without some key parts tonight. Guard Rodney Stuckey will not play tonight because of a shoulder injury. The Bobcats are healthy following their Monday loss to Utah. They are 3-2 on this trip and for a team with a losing record to finish a long road trip with a winning mark is a significant achievement.
