Ekman-Larsson to participate in All-Star weekend

Coyotes rookie defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson is one of 12 NHL rookies selected to participate in the Honda NHL SuperSkills event at the 2011 NHL All-Star Weekend, Jan. 28-30 at the RBC Center in Raleigh, N.C.

The 6-foot-2, 190 pound native of Karlskrona, Sweden has collected seven assists and 16 penalty minutes in 26 games with the Coyotes this season.

Forty-two NHL All-Stars will play in the 2011 NHL All-Star Game presented by Discover on Sunday, Jan. 30, at the RBC Center.
