Edmonton Oil Kings win Memorial Cup

LONDON, Ontario (AP) Henrik Samuelsson had two goals and three assists to help the Edmonton Oil Kings win the Memorial Cup, 6-3 over the Guelph Storm on Sunday.

Edgars Kulda added a goal and two assists, Cody Corbett, Tyler Robertson and Mitch Moroz also scored, and Tristan Jarry made 32 saves for the Western Hockey League champion Oil Kings.

Robby Fabbri, Stephen Pierog and Zach Mitchell scored for the Ontario Hockey League champion Storm.

The Oil Kings advanced to the final Friday night with a triple-overtime victory over the Quebec Major Hockey League champion Val-d'Or Foreurs in the longest game in tournament history.

The Oil Kings went 1-2 round-robin play, including a 5-2 loss to the Storm. Guelph was 3-0 in round-robin play in the four-team tournament.
