Why do we hate New York?

ESPN anchorwoman on SportsCenter a few minutes ago: "Nobody will remember anything about Game 1 of the ALCS other than the Ibanez home run and the Jeter Injury."

Hmmmm. I don't think so.

We in Detroit will remember Valverde's collapse, Young's clutch hit and a gutsy performance by a kid named Smyly.
