Eagles LB loses Twitter challenge, has to take fan to prom

Emmanuel Acho has felt the power of social media.

The Philadelphia Eagles linebacker was asked by fan Hanna Delmonte, via Instagram direct message, if he'd be willing to take her to the prom if she could get 2,000 retweets on Twitter.

That number was too low for Acho's services, so the 24-year-old Eagles player replied that he'd escort the young lady to the event if she got 10,000 retweets.

Delmonte posted the Instagram DM exchange on Twitter and her followers came through in a big way, topping 15,000 retweets.
