Durant on playing Kobe: 'We weren't too buddy-buddy'
Kevin Durant and the Oklahoma City Thunder visit the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday in the final meeting with Kobe Bryant at Staples Center.
Two superstars have always enjoyed challenges throughout their respective careers, but that doesn't mean they were best friends.
"We weren't too buddy-buddy, I guess," Durant told reporters. "We're going out there and competing against each other. That's what it's all about. That's what I live for is that competition. That's one thing I'll miss ... once he's retired, that competition part."
