Durant: Nothing to worry after signing with Jay-Z

There's nothing to worry about, says Kevin Durant.

Signing with new agent/rapper/entertainment mogul Jay Z won't have anything to do with whether Durant stays or leaves Oklahoma City when his current contract expires after the 2016 season.

"He has nothing to do with if I'm going to leave OKC or none of that," Durant told The Oklahoman. "I heard that before so put that out on the table. He has nothing to do with that. He knows his lane with me. Their team knows their lane with me. And they're letting me handle the basketball part. I would tell fans not to worry about that at all."

Durant seems to be content in Oklahoma City. He's mentioned how happy he is playing for the Thunder on a number of occasions.

This is the third agent Durant has had since beginning his career. Jay Z, who just entered the agent business, has Robinson Cano of the Yankees, Victor Cruz of the New York Giants and Geno Smith of the New York Jets.
