Durant: 'I would love to get my jersey retired' in OKC

Kevin Durant won't become a free agent until after next season, but he recently made some provocative statements about his future.

Durant told Revolt TV: "I love it here, man. I love my teammates, I love the city, I don't really think about anywhere else."

Speculation about Durant's future, whether it will be in Oklahoma City or elsewhere, has been part of the daily conversation this season, despite the fact Durant has been out for all but 27 games.

Durant had a third foot surgery Tuesday in New York. He won't play again until next season.

"I'm one of those guys that would love to stick it out with one team my whole career," Durant said.

"You never know what the future holds. But I love it here, and I would love to get my jersey retired here."
