Ducks' Cam Fowler out 2-6 weeks with shoulder injury

Anaheim Ducks defenseman Cam Fowler will miss 2-6 weeks with a shoulder injury, the team announced Tuesday.

Fowler suffered the injury during Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Colorado Avalanche-- a game he registered a team-high 25:41 on the ice despite not playing the extra time.

The 26-year-old netted eight goals and accounted for 24 assists in 67 games so far this season after missing 12 games with a knee injury earlier in the year.

The Ducks currently sit two points ahead of the Avalanche for the first wild card spot with three games remaining in the regular season.

The Ducks host the Wild on Wednesday at 6:30p on Prime Ticket & FOX Sports GO.
