Selected by the New Jersey Devils in the eighth round (229th overall) of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft, Voros was traded to Minnesota for a seventh-round selection in the 2008 NHL draft on Feb. 28, 2007. He signed with the Rangers as a free agent on July 1, 2008 and was acquired by Anaheim with Ryan Hillier in exchange for Steve Eminger on July 9, 2010.

A native of Vancouver, British Columbia, Voros has appeared in 162 career NHL games with Minnesota, NY Rangers and Anaheim, scoring 18-19=37 points with 395 PIM. In addition, he has played in 225 career AHL contests, earning 44-47=91 points with 634 PIM.
