Drogba reportedly turns down two-year deal with Orlando City

Former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba has turned down the offer of a two-year deal with Orlando City, according to reports.

The Florida-based MLS side had been hoping to link him with Brazilian star Kaka but the 37-year-old is considering other options after ending his second spell at Stamford Bridge at the end of the last season.

Drogba won every domestic honor in a glittering career with Chelsea, which was capped off with a man-of-the-match performance in the 2012 Champions League final victory over Bayern Munich.

Weeks later he joined Chinese Super League club Shanghai Shenhua, where he scored eight goals in 11 matches, before moving on to Turkish side Galatasary at the start of 2013.

On his return to Stamford Bridge, Drogba, who has been capped 104 times by the Ivory Coast, featured in 28 games in a campaign which saw Chelsea win the Barclays Premier League and Capital One Cup.
