Didier Drogba scores six minutes into return from self-imposed turf exile
Didier Drogba watched and waited as the Montreal Impact got their season started. That's because the team was playing on artificial turf and Drogba didn't want to put his body through the pounding of playing on the surface. But with their early-season turf stretch in the rearview mirror, the Ivorian returned to the pitch as a 50th minute substitute on Saturday.
Six minutes after he came onto the pitch:
That's a very cheeky finish, @didierdrogba. #CHIvMTL https://t.co/BOkDIerPw9

First match back, six minutes in, backheel. No big deal.
So Drogba hasn't played much in the early going. Who cares? He doesn't seem to, or have any care for match fitness.
The Impact played four of their first five matches this season on turf. As a result, Drogba played just once -- a 20 minute showing in the lone match on grass -- but now the Impact will be playing on grass so he is back. The rest of MLS better beware.
