Diamondbacks minor leaguer suspended for positive drug test

NEW YORK (AP) Arizona outfielder Stephen Dezzi has been suspended 50 games under baseball's minor league drug program, following a positive test for Amphetamine.

The 23-year-old, a 25th-round round draft pick in 2015, hit .208 with two homers and 15 RBIs for Hillsboro of the short-season Northwest League.

The penalty, announced Tuesday, was the 26th suspension this year for violations of the minor league program.
