DeAndre Jordan knows Tony Romo can ball ... and he wants the retiring quarterback on the Clippers!

Whether or not he was serious doesn't matter ... DJ is a Texas native and a Cowboys fan so it's likely 100 percent sincere.

TMZ caught up with Jordan on Monday night and the Clippers center wished Romo was suiting up for LA, not the Mavericks as he will do on Tuesday.
