Daytona Wrap-Up and Wild Wrecks

Jimmie Johnson claimed his fourth win of the season as a wild 10-car wreck erupted behind him at the end of Saturday night's Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway.

Johnson survived a final green-white-checkered restart and beat Tony Stewart to the line to become the first driver to sweep both Daytona races since NASCAR Hall of Famer Bobby Allison in 1982.

"That's amazing," Johnson said of the feat. "Growing up in Southern California, I always watched Bobby Allison race. To do something that Bobby did is amazing."

Kevin Harvick finished third ahead of Clint Bowyer and Michael Waltrip. Kurt Busch, Jamie McMurray, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Casey Mears and Ryan Newman round out the top 10. Click HERE for complete results.

Denny Hamlin looked strong early on, but would lose control of his car through the tri-oval and trigger a six-car wreck. Hamlin was OK after taking two big hits, but would finish 36th. A.J. Allmendinger, Dave Blaney, David Reutimann, Matt Kenseth and Jeff Gordon were also involved.

The final lap saw two wrecks, with the first coming in turn 1. Contact between Carl Edwards and Casey Mears sent the No. 99 sideways, collecting Scott Speed, Marcos Ambrose, Landon Cassill, Bobby Labonte and Joe Nemechek.

NASCAR deemed the track to be safe, allowing the rest of the field to race to the checkered flag where chaos ensued. Danica Patrick was turned while battling for a top 10 finish, collecting several drivers including Kyle Busch, Ryan Newman and Jeff Burton.
