Heat center Erick Dampier was fined $10,000 on Saturday for shoving the Spurs' Tony Parker into a row of photographers along the baseline in San Antonio's 125-95 rout of Miami.

The 6'11'', 265-pound Dampier, who spent the past six seasons with the Mavericks before joining Miami this season, pushed the 6'2'', 185-pound Parker with 2:13 remaining in the third quarter as the speedy guard appeared headed for an easy layup. Dampier was tagged with a Flagrant-2 foul, which called for an immediate ejection from the game.

It's unknown whether the shove was borne out of trying to save a basket,  the frustration of being on the receiving end of a blowout or perhaps even a smattering of bad blood from the storied Spurs-Mavs rivalry, but Parker was visibly upset by the sequence in his first game back from a strained left calf that kept him out of the lineup for five days.

Parker was not hurt on the play and is in line to play Sunday against the Lakers in a possible playoff preview.
