D-backs replenish bullpen by calling up Bracho, Campos

PHOENIX -- In need of fresh arms for the bullpen, the Diamondbacks have recalled right-hander Silvino Bracho from Triple-A Reno and right-hander Vicente Campos from Double-A Mobile and optioned Dominic Leone and lefty Steve Hathaway to Reno.

Bracho, who has pitched in 15 games in three previous stints with the D-backs this year, is 0-2 with 15 saves and a 4.81 ERA for Reno in 36 games. Campos, acquired from the New York Yankees in the July 31 trade of Tyler Clippard, is 10-5 with a 3.26 ERA in 24 starts for three different minor-league teams. He has yet to pitch in the major leagues.

Leone has a 7.52 ERA in 20 appearances with the D-backs, while Hathaway has a 5.79 ERA.
