D-backs place Brito on DL with broken toe, recall Drury
Diamondbacks outfielder Socrates Brito suffered a fractured toe when he fouled a ball off his right foot in the eighth inning on Thursday night and has been placed on the 15-day disabled list. The D-backs replaced him on the active roster by recalling infielder/outfielder Brandon Drury from Triple-A Reno.

Brito played the entire game on Thursday night and hit a home run -- his second of the year -- in the second inning. He is hitting .211 in 13 games.
Drury had been optioned to Reno on Sunday and played three games for the Aces. He'd spent all of the season until then on the major-league roster and is hitting .275 with eight home runs in 56 games while playing both corner outfield positions, second base and third base.
