Cyle Larin scores 2 as Orlando City dismantles Columbus Crew

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- Cyle Larin scored twice to help Orlando City beat the Columbus Crew 5-1 on Saturday night.

Columbus (8-8-7) opened the scoring in the fifth minute. Justin Meram made a nice service in a crowded penalty area to a streaking Federico Higuain, who chipped it behind Tally Hall for his sixth of the season.

Orlando (7-9-6) evened it in the 18th. Servando Carrasco found Corey Ashe down the left wing. Ashe fed Larin in the center of the box and the rookie tapped it in for his 10th of the season.

Darwin Ceren gave Orlando a 2-1 lead in the 38th minute. His first attempt from the right side of the penalty area was knocked down, but he followed up with a strong right foot form the edge of the six-yard box to beat Steve Clark.

Larin, Aurelien Collin and Cristian Higuita added second-half goals for Orlando City.
