Coyotes to launch jersey exchange program on Friday, Feb. 12

The Arizona Coyotes will launch their "Raising Coyotes" jersey exchange program on Friday, Feb. 12, at Gila River Arena when the Coyotes take on the Calgary Flames. Adult fans can exchange any jersey from other active NHL teams for a replica Arizona Coyotes jersey for each child (14 and under) present with the adult. There will be a limit of eight jerseys per adult.

As part of the "Raising Coyotes" program, the team also announced today that all kids 14 and under will be admitted free with the purchase of any regularly priced adult ticket for lower level or upper level end seats for all remaining regular season home games during the 2015-16 season. Fans can take advantage of this program at the Gila Arena Box office and via Ticketmaster.

"There are a number of northerners who continue to spur the Valley's population growth," said Coyotes Chief Marketing Officer John Pierce. "These new residents bring their traditions and allegiances with them to Arizona, including their love for the NHL team they grew up with. We have a young and exciting team, and now we are going to help these parents give their children the same opportunity they had as kids -- to grow up rooting for their hometown team -- the Coyotes."

The program will continue on Feb. 15 (Montreal Canadiens) and Feb. 20 (St. Louis Blues). Fans can exchange their jerseys at the Fanatics mobile trailer, which will be stationed on the Gate 4 plaza at the north end of Gila River Arena prior to these home games from 4:30 to 7 p.m. 

Future "Raising Coyotes" jersey exchange dates will be announced in late February.  

At the conclusion of the program, the Coyotes will donate all the adult NHL jerseys collected to Defending The Blue Line, a non-profit organization that works to ensure that children of military members are afforded every opportunity to participate in the game of hockey.
